LEAP is now working with households in Scotland to help to reduce energy bills and keep households warm this winter.
LEAP has a wide range of support available for people in need. Its free energy advice service offers tailored advice and support based on the needs of a household, this includes onward referrals or a follow-up home visit (this is subject to specific areas of Scotland). LEAP’s Home Energy Advisors may be able to provide small energy efficiency measures to homes to help reduce heat loss and therefore save money.
Over the last year, LEAP provided 8,359 households with 67,966 simple energy efficiency measures through its home visit and telephone services. This has helped its customers save £8.3 million in lifetime bill savings.
LEAP has a number of energy support pages on its website that will help you save money on your energy bills. This includes its self-help checklist, which has over 220 useful links to take you straight to the free help and support you may need. This ranges from benefits, and housing assistance to free debt advice.
